The Voice limit group settings affect Waveform Regions.
If a voice playing a Waveform Region is cancelled due to voice limiting, the playback of its audio data will be suddenly interrupted.
In order to make such audio discontinuities less obvious, it may be useful to add a thin reverberation effect (e.g. add a reverb effect on the Bus.)
One can consider that the voice limiting operates as a resource management system since playback will not be performed once the limit is reached.
For example, it can be used to ensure that there is no more than one line of dialogue spoken by the same character at a given time.
