Headphones Virtual Surround

Basic function

Headphone virtual surround is an effect which simulates surround sound (5.1ch, 7.1ch) in a headphone listening environment.
By applying the headphone virtual surround effect, it is possible to create the effect of hearing surround sound when using headphones.

Channel

  • Input: 5.1ch or 7.1ch
  • Output: 2ch

Feature

Because the surround effect is applied to the signal flowing through the bus, it operates with a constant processing load regardless of the number of notes.

Note

The effect of headphone virtual surround is only available when listening to audio with stereo headphones or earphones.
When outputting from speakers, it is necessary to bypass the headphone virtual surround effect under the control of the application.
The headphone virtual surround effect only supports 48 kHz audio.
