Video sync playback

Play video in sync with Cue playback

You can play videos in sync during Cue playback.
Here's how to play when a Cue is selected:

(1) Display the movie Window by selecting "Window"-"movie Window" from the menu.
(2) Drag and drop the video file into the movie window.
(3) The video will be displayed in the movie window. When you start the Cue playback, the video will also be played at the same time.

For Mac

Video playback is done by AVFoundation.

For Windows

Video playback uses DirectShow, and requires that the DirectShowFilter decoder for each codec is installed on the PC.
Depending on the DirectShowFilter installed, when previewing a highly compressed video, the seek operation may not be smooth.
This may be improved by the following:

  • Decrease the compression of the video (increase the bitrate).
  • Change the codec used to create videos.
  • Install the appropriate DirectShowFilter for the codec you are using.
Attention
This function has the following bugs:
  • Some codecs cannot be played correctly. We recommend using the mp4 codec.
  • Seeking doesn't work properly.
  • The video does not play properly on the Mac version. The Quick Help and Start Page web pages do not appear after the video is played.
