Files with an .atmcuser extension are created by the tool. These files contain information about the status (open/closed) of the items in the project tree.
No version control is required for this file and you can even delete the file if you do not need it since it will be re-created automatically.
The file name is built from the project name, the machine name and the user name. Information is stored for each machine.
