Snapshot

A Snapshot can be used to create different versions of a Bus and switch between them when needed.
A Snapshot can store any number of parameter values for the Bus.
They can correspond to the volume of a Bus, or the values of parameters from an effect plugin, etc.
When recalling a Snapshot with a transition time from the code, these parameter values will change smoothly over the specified time.

Usage of Snapshots

Available parameters Effect
Reverb amount Allow for the transition between different spaces (e.g. from a small enclosed space to a large open area)
Bus Volume Allow for the balancing of the volumes between the buses for each scene

For example, to transition between areas with different amounts of Reverb, create "small area" and "open area" Snapshots. On the program side, parameter values can be switched or interpolated by recalling a Snapshot.
The exact time to transition between parameter values can also be specified.

Note
To check the behavior of the Snapshots (e.g., transition time) in the authoring tool, refer to Session Window .
Note that it is also possible to switch between Snapshots from the toolbar or in the tree, but in these cases the transition time cannot be specified and therefore the changes will be immediate.
