I3DL2 reverb

Basic functions

I3DL2 Reverb is an effect that adds a spatial reverb effect compliant with I3DL2 (Interactive 3D Audio Level 2).

Number of channels

Version 2

  • Input: 1 to 12 ch
  • Output: 1 to 12 ch

After mixing all outputs from 5.1 ch to 7.1.4 ch into a stereo mix, it becomes a surround reverb that returns individual reverberation to up to 12 channels (L, C, R, Ls, Rs, Lsb, Rsb, Ltf, Rtf, Ltb, Rtb) depending on the number of output channels.

Version 1

  • Input: 1 to 8 ch
  • Output: 1 to 8 ch

After downmixing 5.1 ch or 7.1 ch output to stereo, it becomes a surround reverb that returns individual reverberation to a maximum of 7 channels: L, C, R, Ls, Rs, Lsb and Rsb. Version 1 is for compatibility purposes, so the maximum number of inputs and outputs is 8 channels.
For this reason, when using a 7.1.4 ch setup, the top speaker component is not downmixed and is truncated.
If you need to operate with more than 9 channels, please use version 2.

Features

  • Produces reverberation that retains a sense of stereo positioning.
  • I3DL2 (Interactive 3D Audio Level 2) settings are now available.
  • Input and output levels can be controlled.

version

There are two versions of I3DL2 reverb for CRI Atom Craft Ver.3.47.00 and later.
In version 2, the internal algorithm has been revised to more accurately reflect each parameter of the I3DL2 standard.
When creating a new I3DL2 reverb in CRI Atom Craft Ver.3.47.00 or later, the default setting will be version 2.

There will be no automatic version upgrade for version settings.
Projects and data created with tools prior to CRI Atom Craft Ver.3.47.00 will be played back in version 1.
If you are using version 2 with a project created with a tool earlier than CRI Atom Craft Ver.3.47.00, please change the setting value.
