CRI Audio to V3 Project

This shows the steps to convert from V1 to V3.

CRI Atom Craft V2 to V3 Project

Convert a CRI Atom Craft project from V2 (before Ver.2.27.01) to V3.

Version that needs to be updated with this tool

Converts V2 projects (versions earlier than Ver.2.27.01) that cannot be opened directly in Ver.3 into V3 projects.

Versions that do not require an update

If your project is version 2.27.01 or later, the latest conversion will automatically be performed when loaded in CRI Atom Craft V3.

Method of operation

CRI Atom Craft V2 to V3 Project Procedures and Notes

Launch CriAtomProjectUpdater.exe.

1. Press the CRI Atom Craft V2 to V3 Project button<br>

When you press the CRI Atom Craft V2 to V3 Project button, a dialog box will appear to load the V2 project.

At this time, loading and conversion processing equivalent to CRI Atom Craft Ver.2.35 will be performed.
This is because older Ver.2 projects will have necessary data supplemented as necessary.
In some cases, a dialog box will appear to show you the conversion results.

About format version

CRI Atom Craft has an internal file format version called FormatVersion, which is separate from the tool version.

2. Backup

After that, a backup dialog will appear. We will try to back up the loaded state.
You may be asked to save the file when backing up, but if you want to keep the original file, back up without saving it.
If you save now, the original file will be lost.
This means that you can no longer open it with older tools.

3. Conversion

Saves the open project in its latest state.

This tool allows you to convert V2 project files older than Ver.2.27.01 and open them in V3.

About converting from older data

For V1 or CRI Audio projects, you will also need to use a V1toV2 converter. It is not included in the SDK and can be obtained separately from the CRI support site.
