Creating a new project

How to create a project

To display the new project dialog box, do the following:

Operation	Description
Select the [File] - [New Project ...] command	The New Project Dialog Box will be displayed.

Item	Description
Project Name	Specify the project name.
Project Root Path	Specify the folder in which to save the project file.
Project File Path	The path of the project file is displayed. ([Project Root Path]/[Project Name].atmcproject)This item can not be edited.
Material Root Path	Material Specify a folder to save the source assets. The specified folder is called the "material root folder".

When you click on the "New Project" button, the project is created according to your settings.
When created successfully, the following project-related files are automatically generated in the same folder than the project file.

• User settings (for each author)
• Configuring Sound Materials
• Global Settings

Once these files are generated, a dialog box to create a new work unit will be displayed.

Tips

If waveform files already exist in the specified material root folder, they will be recognized as sound materials and automatically added as Material .
