ADX LE is the lite edition of "CRI ADX", a widely used audio middleware in game development studios worldwide. Perfectly adapted to the requirements of cutting-edge game audio production, all sound implementation can be performed intuitively in the authoring tool.

Features

1. Support for various operating systems and game engines

Both Windows and MacOS development environments are now supported. Cross-platform solutions supported include Unity, UE4, and cocos2d-x among others.

2. Intuitive authoring tool and comprehensive debugging features

Our audio tool provides 8 different GUI layouts for data management and editing, offering an improved workflow that will meet all your needs. Our profiler can display the playback status, number of voices, CPU load and more. It also provides efficient debugging capabilities.

3. File compression with proprietary codecs

CRI ADX LE offers 2 different codecs - "HCA" and "HCA-MX". "HCA" is our proprietary high-compression audio codecs, while "HCA-MX" can be used to reduce the CPU load when playing back a large number of sounds simultaneously.

4. Creation of advanced sound effects for your games

From the creation of complex real-time sound behaviors (such as realistic engine sounds, footsteps matching various surfaces, or varying crowd excitement) to the composition of interactive music, ADX provides all the functions expected from an advanced game audio middleware, and then some. Simply specify the sound’s ID or its name in a script to play it back and control its properties in real-time, according to the settings in the tool.
